Celebrate the Holidays in Downtown Pittston
There are so many ways to celebrate the holidays in Downtown Pittston this year! Join us on December 1st and 2nd for all things festive as we bring back La Festa Di Natale, Pittston's annual holiday market!
This year, La Festa di Natale will open on Friday, December 1st from 5PM-8PM and will feature a variety of local vendors and crafters to shop from. The holiday market will be housed in a circus-size heated tent in our middle Tomato Festival Lot right in the heart of Downtown Pittston.
The market will transform on Saturday morning from a public event to our annual Shop with a Cop holiday program, which allows sponsors to help elementary-school-aged children buy gifts for their loved ones as they shop with local and state law enforcement, promoting positive relationships and giving kids facing challenging times the chance to have a memorable day. The Shop with a Cop program will occur from 10AM-12PM on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
After the Shop with a Cop program, the holiday market will reopen to the public beginning at 12:00 Noon and will remain open until 5PM that day.
Once the shopping concludes, guests will then be welcomed to enjoy Pittston's Annual Toy Truck Parade hosted by Froggy 101 beginning at 6:00 PM. The parade will feature a variety of festive vehicles, fun music, and even a Christmas trolley featuring special guest, Santa Claus!
Immediately following the parade, our Christmas Ambassador with the help of Miss Northeastern PA will welcome Santa with the lighting of our GIANT Downtown Christmas Tree! Guests will then have the opportunity to take photos with Santa while they enjoy music and trolley rides to and from our local Downtown Businesses.
What's more? The Downtown Pittston Partnership will host a Holiday Decorating Contest for all Downtown Businesses. Show your love for your favorite business by voting them "best decorated" from December 1 - December 20, 2023. Your vote could help your chosen business receive a cash prize that can be used to better their business in the future!
